TITAN BOSS GUIDE

Having trouble taking down the Titan Bosses?

Titan Bosses vary from standard Titans in a couple of ways.  Firstly, they are much tougher and hit a lot harder.  Secondly, they use DroneTechâ„¢  (see the Titan Boss page for details).

One way to bring Titan Bosses down is to have a lot of T.A.T's (Titan Attack Turrets).  This is pretty costly, and can be difficult unless you take a long time to kill the sector bases (something that won't be very feasible once the Invasion update hits).  The high cost also means you wont have money to spend on other things like weapon upgrades.

The best way method is to first kill the drones supporting the Titan Boss, then you can bring him down with less T.A.T's, or even constant damage from other sources.

SuperTank

SuperTank Titan BossSuperTank appears after you destroy the enemies Sector 1 base.  In completely contrast to UltraBot, this Titan Boss has a very long range artillery cannon.  This makes your T.AT's and other defences quite vulnerable.  The long range cannon does high damage to your army and your hero, if you stay on your toes you can avoid the blast, as it is not homing and is quite slow.

Since this Titan has no shield drones, it is a bit easier to damage him, as long as you can get in range.  Although his main cannon has a very long range, it also has a minimum firing range, so if you get close enough the cannon won't hit you.  He does have a Repair Drone that will need to be taken out before you can do much damage to him.

SuperTank is not without close range defences, featuring 4 rotating Turret Drones that can hurt quite quickly.  Unlike the other drones, Turret Drones fly low enough that both ground and anti-air weapons are effective.

Once you take out his drones, you should be able to bring him down and push forward with your army.  Just make sure your defences are ready to take on the UltraBot in the next sector.

UltraBot

UltraBot Titan BossUltraBot appears after you destroy the enemies Sector 2 base.  This Titan boss has a melee attack only, and is fairly easy to avoid with your hero.  Be careful though if you do get caught in one of his attacks, you have a high chance of being stunned.  Although he isn't a big threat to Heroes, he will devastate your army in single blows, so you need to bring him down quickly.

UltraBot starts off with at least one Shield Drone (more based on difficulty) that will recharge the UltraBots shields and shoot down incoming missiles while it has energy.  A single Shield Drone is enough to hold off multiple T.A.Ts while the UltraBot smashes your army to pieces.

Drones hover around the Titan and can be targetted separately.  You will need Anti-Air weapons to take out most Drones as they fly quite high and standard weapons aren't effective.

Once you take out the Shield Drones, you will be able to bring down UltraBots shields much easier.  As soon as he starts taking damage however, he will launch some Repair Drones to heal.  Just like Shield Drones you will need to take these drones out with Anti-Air, and then you will find it much easier to bring him down.
